Heather Brislen, MD, FACP practices at Lagom Health, an independent primary care clinic in Albuquerque and is clinical faculty for the UNM Department of Internal Medicine at the Albuquerque VA. Besides being a student of Pilates, she is an advocate for broad health care system reform, reproductive rights and the elderly. Originally from Albuquerque, Dr. Brislen completed medical school and residency at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Brislen is a recipient of the AMA Foundation's Leadership in Medicine award and was voted best Geriatrician by Albuquerque the Magazine in 2018, 2019 and 2021. She sits on the board of governors for the American College of physicians and is the current governor of the New Mexico chapter of ACP.
